CHARLES HENRY FAVEL On Thursday, December 9, 1999 at the Lethbridge General Hospital, Charles Henry Favel of Claresholm, Alberta, beloved husband of Della Favel, passed away at the age of 77 years. Prayers will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home, 84 Royal Road S., Portage la Prairie on Tuesday, December 14 (tonight) at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Johns Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 15 at 1:30 p.m. Predeceased by his parents; son-in-law Ronald Vivier; one brother Willie during the Second World War; two sisters, Margaret Hatch, Pearl Garnham; and sister-in-law Irene Favel, he leaves to mourn his passing his wife Della; three sons, Joe and Thelma, Terry, all of Selkirk, Douglas and Janelle of Airdrie, Alberta; four daughters, Linda and Harold McIvor of Claresholm, Alberta, Betty Favel of High River, Alberta, Valerie and John Burby of Bragg Creek, Alberta, Janet and Stefan Buium of Claresholm, Alberta; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother Robert Favel of Winnipeg; sister Katie Hatch who passed away the same day, and many nieces and nephews.
