ERNO SANTA Peacefully following a lengthy illness, it is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erno Santa on December 13, 1999, at age 60 years, at the Victoria General Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Franz and Anna; brothers, Les and Frank (Roxanne) nephew Les; nieces, Lori-Ann, Charlene, Cheryl, Ashley, Lindsay, and Nevada. He will also be sadly missed by uncle Victor and aunt Margaret, uncle Rudy and aunt Zita, uncle Imre and aunt Ella, and their families; and sister-in-law Pat. Erno was predeceased by infant brother and sister Hansel and Gretl. Erno was born in Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1957 with his family and resided in Winnipeg until his passing. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, December 15, at 8:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, December 16 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford St., with Rev. Fr. Peter Monty S.J. presiding. Interment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley Street.
