Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER PETLIKAU It is with deep sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Alexander Petlikau in the comfort of his home, on December 19, 1999 at the age of 63. Alexander is survived by his loving wife Ruth; son Juergen (Valerie) sister Herta (Karl) Welge of Germany; brother Rudy (Linda) of B.C.; grandchildren, Jessica, Ian and Alexis; several nieces and nephews. Alexander was born in Poland in 1936. He grew up in Germany until age 19 when he came to Canada. He worked as a brick layer for 30 years. In his retirement, Alexander enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 22 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 65 Walnut St. Interment Garden of Prayer, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in The Glen Eden Reception Centre, 4477 Main St. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. "Hell always be remembered as a man, both strong and good. Who gave his best for others, and who did the best he could.
