STEVE KUCHMA Suddenly on Tuesday, December 23, 1999 Steve Kuchma aged 88 years beloved husband of Maria passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Steve was born August 20, 1911 in the Western Ukraine, Tarnopilska Oblast Selo Novoshilka. He was employed with City of Winnipeg for many years in the maintenance department. Steve and his wife Maria were faithful and devoted members of Saint Andrews Ukrainian Catholic Church for many years there they made many long and lasting friendships. Steve also sang in the church choir. Besides his beloved wife Maria, Steve leaves to cherish his memory many relatives in the Ukraine and cousins in Canada. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, December 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 29 at 10:30 a.m. from Saint Andrews Ukrainian Catholic Church, 160 Euclid Ave., with Rev. Mitrat J. Holowaty officiating assisted by Rev. Deacon Walter Knysh. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations may be made in Steves memory to Saint Andrews Ukrainian Catholic Church, or to a charity of ones choice.
