ROBERT LENARD FAVEL It is with deepest sorrow that our family announces the death of our father, Robert Favel, on February 21, 2000 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 75 years. Dad was predeceased by our mother, Irene in February, 1991. He leaves to mourn his passing seven children, daughters, Judith Favel of Winnipeg, Faye (Bob) Beasley of Calgary, Eilleen Frederickson of Winnipeg, Donna (Gary) Anderson of Winnipeg, Jackie Black of Winnipeg, sons, Clifford (Ruth) Favel and Robert Jr. There are also many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; nieces, nephews; three brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law. Dad worked as a farmer till he moved to Winnipeg in the early 50s, at which time he worked as a carpenter in the construction trade till he retired. Dad loved gardening, hunting and trapping, building and fixing things around the home. He also enjoyed playing bingo at the local legions, 141 and 117 of Winnipeg. Prayers will be said on Friday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 26 at 11:00 a.m. also at the chapel with Fr. Dominique Kerbrat officiating.
