Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUSSELL LAIRD FETTERLY Mr. Russell Fetterly, aged 88 years, beloved husband, soulmate and best friend of Dorothy of Beausejour, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 24, 2000 at the Beausejour & District Hospital. Besides his wife Dorothy, of 63 years of marriage, he will be lovingly remembered by his son Timothy (Linda) of Vivian; his daughters, Violet Mozil of Winnipeg, Pat (Art) Linke of Beausejour, Sharon (Don) Barrett of Quesnel, B.C., and Judy (Wayne) Moffat of Oakbank; 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; his brother Garnet (Doreen) of Vivian; sister Gladys (Bill) Orr of Kelowna, B.C.; sisters-in-law, Joan McGill, Peggy Bailey and Hazel Fetterly, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, three sisters, five brothers and one great-grandson. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue East, Beausejour with Pastor Roger Paavola officiating. Friends may view 1/2 hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be his six grandsons. Interment will follow in the Millbrook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Pastor Roger and Pat Paavola, the home care workers and the Beausejour & District Hospital staff for their care and compassion.
