Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA HAUSRATH Peacefully, on Monday, April 24, 2000, Maria Hausrath passed away at Third Crossing Manor, Gladstone, Man., at the age of 95 years. Maria was born on March 28, 1905 in Moskiva, Russia. She was an opera singer for many years and toured Europe. She married Albin Hausrath and they lived in Lithuania for a short time. Maria and her husband immigrated to Canada in the 1940s and moved to the Glenella District where they farmed for many years. Maria moved to Centennial Apartments in Gladstone in 1988 and then moved to Third Crossing Manor on October 6, 1995. Predeceased by her parents, two sisters and her husband Albin, Maria leaves to mourn her passing, Liudmila and Halina Yanovich of Russia, Wetold and Hilda Hausrath of Eucild, Ohio, and her friend Irene Michalski of Gladstone, Man. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 1 at 10:00 a.m. in Clarkes Funeral Chapel, Gladstone, Man. with Father Chris Soeterboek officiating. Interment will follow in the Waldersee Cemetery. Clarkes Funeral Home, Gladstone in care of arrangements.
