CATHERINE (KAY) HOUSTON FLETT FERRIS (nee MERRIMAN) 1920 - 2000 Peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital with her family by her side, Cathy Ferris passed away. She was predeceased by her son James Alexander Jr. in 1998. Cathy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, James; daughter Heather Mackie (Bob) grandchildren, Colleen Mahoney (Tim), Robyn and Jillian Mackie; great-grandson Quinton; daughter-in-law, Heather Ferris; grandsons, Jamie and Robert; Ralph Greenwood, sister Sally Gough; sister-in-law Evaline Wakeham (Gordon) and family as well as many other relatives and good friends. A special thanks to Dr. Robert Lotocki and the nursing staff of 3B and 3E and also to Chaplain Rosalind Bradford and Reverand John Moore. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 8 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick and St. Jude Anglican Church, 612 Valour Road, with Rev. John Moore officiating.
