MARY MICHALSKI With deep sorrow we announce that Mary passed away peacefully at Holy Family Nursing Home on the morning of May 5, 2000 at the age of 85. Mary was born March 5, 1915 in Portage la Prairie, MB. She moved to Winnipeg and was working as a waitress when she met her husband Charles Michalski. In 1933 Charles and Mary established Michalski Printing, where for many years they worked long and tiring hours to make Michalski Printing one of the more respected printing companies in Winnipeg. Mary loved being close to her son and worked till she was 78. Her other greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Mary was a very special person and had many friends in the business community, her greatest ability was to making friends and touch people in her special ways. Mary brought joy and comfort into the lives of all her friends and family and for that she will be deeply missed. She will be thought of, by all those she touched with her love and kindness as a strong hard working, loyal and loving person. Memories of her will always be cherished. Mary was predeceased by her husband Charles; mother Ann and father William and brother Tony Pliszka. She will be missed by her daughter Diana and son-in-law Al Park, her son Chuck and daughter-in-law Dianne Michalski; her grandchildren, Darrin, Amber, Darcy (Jennifer) Park, and Chad Michalski; her great-grandchild Ethan Park; her brother Nick Pliszka and sister Tina Pauch, and all her many friends. Our sincere thanks to all the wonderful staff at Holy Family Nursing Home for their kindness and loving ways in making mom feel so special. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to Holy Family Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Fr. Ernie Hafichuk will officiate. Private family interment at St. Marys Cemetery. Rest in peace, Mom, you will always be loved and remembered. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements 586-8044.
