Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA ROSE SMAHA (nee ISAKIW) Peacefully, with her children by her side, our precious mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2000. Mom was born in Manitoba on May 12, 1913. As a young woman she moved to Winnipeg where she met and married Anton Smaha. Barbara was a longstanding member of St Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Womens League. She was a warm, loving caring mother and a wonderful grandmother. She took great interest in the lives of her family and was supportive and proud of their achievements. We are so blessed to have had so many years with this sweet, brave, strong, generous loving soul. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her loving memory her best friend and daughter Sylvia (Fred) her sons, Andy (Keitha), Tony (Nettie) and David (Cathy) and brother Alec (Pauline). She will be missed by grandchildren, Sandra and Leslie, Pat, Holly and Jason, Tony and Debbie, Jenna and Jessica; and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Fransois, the nurses and staff of St Boniface Hospital, Wards 6E, 5E and Emergency for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Thursday, May 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 26 at 10:00 a.m., also at Cropo Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Smaha, David Smaha, Tony Smaha Jr., Glenn Constable, Darryl Kopp and Jason Jeschke. We love you so much Mom, Well miss you dearly Baba THE TWENTY-THIRD PSALM The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley Of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; They rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me In the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow Me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house Of the Lord forever. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements 586-8044.
