Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHECTOR EDMOND (JIM) POULAIN Suddenly on May 24, 2000, Jim passed away at his residence. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Betty; son John; granddaughter Taylor; stepmother June Poulain; sister Louise Steeves of Vancouver; Uncle John and Aunt Simone Poulain of Florida; Auntie Noella and Rose Amee of Montreal; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Ted and mother Irene. Jim was born in Winnipeg, October 13, 1933 and received his education there. He enlisted in the Armed Forces. His military career spanned 25 years and included service in Egypt twice, West Germany, North Bay, ON, Muskiva and Winnipeg, retiring there. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 4. At Jims request cremation has taken place. Private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association or a charity of ones choice. Rest in peace beloved Husband and Dad.
