KAREL KOZELUH (CHARLIE) On Thursday, May 25, 2000, Karel Kozeluh, age 71 years, beloved husband of Audrey, passed away after a lengthy illness. Karel, known as Charlie to many of his friends, was born in Czechoslovakia July 7, 1928 and came to Canada in 1953 and met and married his first wife Frieda. Charlie worked hard all his life as a labourer until he was forced to retire due to ill health. He was predeceased by his parents, his son Robert and his first wife Frieda. He will be lovingly missed by his wife Audrey; his children, Renata, Harold (Debbie), Rosemarie and Peter; his grandchildren, Rose, Tamarra, Kira and great-grandchild Monika. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Rev. Peter Cain will officiate. Interment to follow Brookside Cemetery. We say goodbye to a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away You suffered much in silence You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage Your spirit did not bend But still you kept on fighting Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be So He put his arms around you And whispered "Come with Me" So when we saw you sleeping, So peacefully, free from pain We would not wish you back To suffer that again.
