NORMA HERMOINE GOETZ (nee GUPPY) On the evening of Thursday, May 25, 2000, our wonderful mother, grama and great grama died peacefully at the age of 82 in the Misericordia Health Centre. Norma was predeceased by her husband Ervin and brother Vincent. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Madeline (Ken) Swaffer; grandchildren Pam Krysko (Deryl), Dennis (Jeannie) Swaffer, Lisa (Terry) Ferguson and Dwayne Swaffer; great-grandsons Byron, Dallas, Jordan, Jared and Bradley and by her brother Harold Guppy. Norma worked for a number of years as a sales clerk for Zellers, then as a receptionist for Doctors Small and Popoff. When she retired Norma especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandsons, attending family functions, being with friends, her Monday bowling league and Sunday church services. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Bertsch for the care given to Norma. There will be a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway with Pastor Bruce Gelhorn officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Normas Memory to Cancer Care Manitoba, 100 Olivia Street, Winnipeg, MB., R3E 0V9. Mom, Grama, Your Journey Has Just Begun.
