Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLENA PROKIPCHUK On Monday, May 29, 2000 at the Vita Personal Care Home, Mrs. Lena Prokipchuk, beloved wife of Dmytro of Vita, passed away at the age of 92 years. Besides her loving husband of 75 years, she leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Stella (Fred) Sciberras of Dugald, Anne Faykes of Winnipeg, Sonya (Wayne) Meneer of Winnipeg; three sons, Walter (Irene), Jack (Rose), John (Mary), all of Winnipeg; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; one sister, Olga Feniuk; one sister-in-law, Ollie Prociuk; many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by two sons, Bill and Vincent; two grandchildren; five sisters; and two brothers. Prayers will be said on Thursday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Michaels Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Vita with Rev. Father Miron Pozniak officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Smith and the nursing staff at Vita Personal Care Home and Vita Hospital for the care given to our mother during her stay there.
