Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE ERNEST PROCTOR It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, son, father and grandfather on Wednesday, June 7, 2000. George was born June 8, 1928 in Winnipeg and had lived in Woodlands most of his life. Predeceased by his father Walter and sister Mareta. He will be sadly missed by his wife Georgette; mother Madeline; daughters, Mareta (Glen) and Claudette (Rick) son David (Anita) four grandchildren, Evan, Michael, Jarrod and Kelita. He worked most of his life in construction for Mannix, Commonwealth, Comstock and his last employer was Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting in Leaf Rapids, Man. He retired in 1994 and spent his retirement years at his home in Woodlands. He enjoyed gardening, spending time in the bush cutting wood, hunting and fishing with his son, grandsons and friends. Friends may call from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, Sunday, June 11. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, Rev. J. Stennett will officiate. Cremation will follow with a private family interment later. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren Evan, Michael, Jarrod and Kelita, and cousin and good friend Clare Procter. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
