WALTER ROY FELL Born in Winnipeg, March 24, 1930, died peacefully at home in Peterborough on June 28, 2000. Dearly loved husband and golf partner of Carol for 46 years. Graduate of University of Manitoba, Mechanical Engineering 1952. Distinguished career with G.E. Canada in Peterborough, Guelph, and as Vice-President, Manager-Hydro, Lachine, Que. Remembered with pride and many smiles by children, Bob and his wife Melanie, and Louise and her husband Tom Rowe; proud grandfather of Brendan Fell; brother of Robert Fell, Mary Higgins, Shirley Edginton and William Fell (deceased) lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the V.O.N. and care givers of the Red Cross, Peterborough. Family will receive friends at the Comstock Funeral Home, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, July 3. Memorial service to be held at Trinity United Church, Peterborough on Tuesday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Little Lake Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations to the V.O.N., Canadian Cancer Society or the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
