JOHN STANLEY NORMAN (TICKER) PROCTOR Suddenly on Sunday July 30, 2000 at his residence John (Ticker) Proctor, aged 64 years, beloved husband of Jeannette (Jan) Moskal (DeMontigny) of Woodlands. Born November 6, 1935 in Stonewall, he was the youngest son of Albert and Dorothy Proctor. John lived all his life on the farm taking care of his parents; worked on construction in his early years and later he and Jan hauled trailers until his health forced him to retire. Survived by his wife Jan, sister Berta Sinclair, brother Bud Proctor and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Albert in 1975, Dorothy in 1978; brothers, Deane in 1975, Ray in 1978, Vern in 2000; and sister Margaret DeMontigny in 1997. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral service will be held in the Woodlands Community Hall Thursday, August 3 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. John Stennett will officiate, with interment to follow in St. Georges Cemetery, Woodlands. Pallbearers will be Richard Proctor, Weldon Proctor, Terry Proctor, Allan Proctor, Bud DeMontigny and Curtis Huff. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, in care of the arrangements.
