MAY VICTORIA FAWLEY The family of Mrs. May Victoria Fawley sadly announces her death on Saturday, September 2, 2000 in the Kelowna General Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gail (Allan), Wayne (Kathy), Barry (Debby) and Garry (Mary) her grandchildren, Craig, Murray, Bryan, David (Deb), Rob (Tracy), Laura, Colleen, Kathleen, Bridget, Rebecca, Keenan and Madeline; her great-grandchildren, Kendra, Sabrina, Tiffany, Kaila and Amanda; her sisters, Edna (Bob), Pat, Doris and Dorothy (John) her brother-in-law Les (Connie) her sister-in-law Dar and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1985; her brothers, Lawrence and Clifford and sister Vi. May (better known to family and friends as "Cuppycake") was born on April 9, 1920 in Lundar, MB and resided for many years in Winnipeg. The cottage (Darly Dale) at Matlock was a place many family and friends gathered each summer. In 1992, May moved to Vernon with Gail and Al and she enjoyed eight wonderful years making many new and special friends. A Memorial Service was held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. Our thanks to Moms "adopted" son, Murray Tyreman for his participation. Special thanks are also extended to Dr. Jean Maskey for her exceptional care.
