A. MARGARET PRICE Peacefully early Friday morning, October 13, 2000 at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 87 years. Margaret was born April 21, 1913 in St. James, Winnipeg, MB, where she lived all her life. The elder daughter of Ann Jane and John Wellington Price. Predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law John Krippenz (California). Survived by her sister, Beryl Krippenz, Bakersfield, California; her niece Teri (Tom) Crandell of Tehachapi, California and her great nephew John Gorell with the US Air Force Andrews Airport, Washington U.S.A. A life long member of St. James United Church and because of her great love of music, she sang with the choir for over 50 years. Margaret was a loyal devoted member of Circle 6 of St. James U.C.W. , contributing to all their endeavours towards missions, fellowship and service. We will think of Romans 8: Verses 38 & 39 in her memory. Margaret, a Charter and Life member of the St. James Business and Profession Womens Club was a life member of the Canadian Federation of B.P.W and also served as National Secretary-Treasurer for 4 years. To her credit, she was also the past President of the Manitoba Association of Business and Professional Womens Clubs. Margaret was always employed in the general insurance industry. A life member of the Manitoba Assoc. of Insurance Professionals and the National President of the Canadian Assoc. of Insurance Women. She was a great and wonderful person to all who knew her. She had a remarkable zest for life and along with her many friends, including Eleanor Barrett, Shirley Horwood and Marjorie Harrison, she will be surely missed and always remembered in our hearts. Margarets friends and family would like to express "special thanks" to the doctors and nurses of the Emergency Unit of the Grace Hospital and to those doctors and nurses of the 3rd floor. A service of remembrance will be held in the St. James United Church, 234 Parkview St. on Saturday, October 28, at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. James United Church Memorial Fund, 234 Parkview St. Wpg. MB R3J 1S3.
