STANLEY FIDLER On November 14, 2000 at the Concordia Hospital, Stanley Fidler passed away at the age of 86 years. Stanley is survived by his wife of 53 years Iverna; daughters Norma (Jim) and Bonnie (Allan) five grandchildren, Tracey (Tony), Angela, Kris (Shelley), Jaime and Melanie and three great-grandchild-ren, Amber, Justine and Tanner; sisters and brothers Ethel, Bert, Irene and Jean, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers and five sisters. Stanley served in the Canadian Armed Forces with the Fort Garry Horse Regiment, and then married Iverna in 1947 and was employed by Stoney Mountain Penitentiary from 1949 to 1974. Upon his retirement they moved to Sandy Hook and then spent their remaining years in Winnipeg. The family extends a special thank you to the 2nd floor staff of the Concordia Hospital for their dedication and thoughtfulness. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, November 17, at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Private family interment to follow. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME 843 Sherbrook Street 774-7474
