WILLIAM FLOCKHART INNES TAYLOR Peacefully, with his loving family by his side, William passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2000 at the age of 81 years. William was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1919. He and his parents immigrated to Winnipeg when he was three years of age. William was employed by Bridge and Tank for 40 years as a welder. He had many hobbies, but most of all he cherished his time with his family. His warm, loving and caring nature will be deeply missed. William was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He leaves to mourn his wife Rose, his children Mary (Ron), Bill (Charlene), Richard (Christa), and his grandchildren Ricky, Terese and Matthew. He is also survived by his cousins Wilma (Elmer) Merritt and Jean McNeice and family. The family would like to express great appreciation to the staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital. We thank the emergency staff, the staff medical units 5U3, 3U4, physio and respiratory therapy, Dr. W. Syslak, Dr. D. Merowitz and Reverend Doug Longstaffe for his prayers and support. We would like to express special thanks to Williams family doctor B. Lei, for the years of care he gave our father. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 12 at 10:00 a.m., at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue. A private burial will be held at a later date.
