AUGUST JOSEPH SAELENS December 12, 2000 On Tuesday, December 12, 2000 at the Lorne Memorial Hospital, Swan Lake, MB, August Saelens, aged 74 years, of Swan Lake, beloved husband of Cecile Saelens (nee Goderis). August leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his loving memory besides his loving wife Cecile; five children, daughter Debbie and husband David Melvin and their family of Dean, Scott, and Carla; daughter Lynda Saelens; son Bob and wife Carole Saelens and family of Eric, Stefanie and Danika; son Douglas and wife Wendy Saelens and family of Shae, Brett and Kelsey, and daughter Dyna Saelens; one brother Camille and wife Margaret Saelens; one sister Pat Young and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son Larrie Saelens; parents, Henri and Marguerite Saelens (nee Bloome) brother Frank Saelens; and brother-in-law Gerry Young. Prayers will be said from the Budz Funeral Chapel, Holland, MB, on Friday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Firmin Michiels on Saturday, December 16 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the St. Martin of Tours Parish Cemetery.
