Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWAYNE CARTER SOWDEN August 2, 1949 - December 20, 2000 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden tragic loss of our son, brother and friend Wayne Carter Sowden of Brandon on December 20, 2000. Left to cherish his memory is his father William Sowden; his brother Darryl (Melanie) Sowden; his sister Valerie (Don) Dybka; niece Dennie; nephew Justin; and great nephew Bailey. Wayne was predeceased by his mother Aileen. A special thanks to all his friends in Brandon who were like a second family. A private family memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 28 at 11:30 a.m. at Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. Guard us waking, guard us sleeping, And, when we die, May we in thy mighty keeping All peaceful lie: Wayne was a kind and gentle man and will be missed by family and friends.
