Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUGUSTYN KUSIAK Suddenly, on December 27, 2000, Mr. Augustyn Kusiak, age 42, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. He is survived by his loving wife Maria, one son Michale in Winnipeg, one son Radoslaw, his mother Kazimizra, a grandmother, one sister Dorota with her family and other members of the family all in Poland. Augustyn was born in Komarow, Poland, on November 7, 1958. He came to Canada in 1987 and made his home in Winnipeg. Here he met and married Maria. He was employed by Ancast Industries Ltd. for ten years. He enjoyed participating in sports, and was one of the best track cyclists in Europe. He loved nature and the outdoors, walking through the woods picking mushrooms and fishing. Augustyn was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 246. Augustyn was an active member of St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church. He was a member of the parish committee. Prayers will be said on Friday, December 29, at 8:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 30, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church, 361 Burrows Ave., with Fr. Msgr. Wesley Cwieka officiating. Interment will follow in St. Marys Polish National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Augustyns memory to St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church, 361 Burrows Ave. Augustyn will be sadly missed but not forgotten by all who knew him, "God loved the world so much that He gave His son so that everyone who believed will have everlasting life."
