Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD HARRIS STARR It is with great sorrow that the family of Ronald Harris Starr announces his passing on Saturday, February 10, 2001 at the age of 64. Ron was predeceased by his wife Lorna Starr, and his parents Marion and Herbert Starr. He will be sadly missed by his children, Dianne (Don), Ronald (Cindy), Jamie (Leanne) step-children, Sandy, Ricki, Bob (Jo-Ann), Pat (Bill) 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and sister Dianne from California. Ron was born December 23, 1936 and was raised in Winnipeg. He was retired from Prudential Life Insurance, where he enjoyed a 33 year career. He also spent the last few years working for Sentinel Life Insurance. Ron and Lorna enjoyed many summers at their cottage at Grand Beach, along with their dog Coco. They also enjoyed many years of travelling together. Special thanks to Dr. Singer, and the staff at Victoria Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m., at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance, with reception to follow. Interment at Brookside Cemetery.
