MARION LYLE PROCTER (nee Hallett) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lyle Procter of Woodlands, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother on Monday, February 26, 2001 at Hunter Memorial Hospital in Teulon, Man. Mom was born on December 29, 1913 in St. James and as a young girl moved with her family to Lake Francis. After attending Graysfield School, she went on to work in Winnipeg. She met and later married Sextus on November 15, 1939. Always a caring person, mom loved her family and friends. Life was precious to mom and among her many pleasures were her flowers, gardens and sports, especially fishing, curling and baseball. She passed many hours playing cards and other games. She enjoyed her many years of community work, she was a life member of A.C.W Group No. 2, Woodlands Curling Club and also served on the Church Vestry and Oak Park Lodge Boards. Mom is survived by her husband Sextus and her three children, Gail (John), Garry (Cindy), Orval (Merilee). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Darrell (Shauna), Rochelle, Ryan, Brett, Brad, Nadine (Jaret) and Courtney. Her family also includes special nieces, Verna and June; her brothers, John and Jim; sisters, Bertha, Helen, Ida (Robbie) in-laws, Madeline, Gwen and Hugh Procter as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Jack Hallett; her mother Ellen; son Glenn and sisters, Thelma and Evelyn and many brothers and sisters-in-law. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Georges Anglican Church, Woodlands, Man. or Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon. Friends may call for prayers from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 28, at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral service will be held in the Woodlands Community Hall at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1 with interment in the St. Georges Anglican Cemetery with Rev. John Stennett officiating.
