SANDRA LYNNE MANCHUR (nee Kemkaran) Peacefully, with her family around her, our mother Sandra passed on to the next world. Mom loved life and especially her children. She always felt that we were her greatest accomplishments. Mom was born in Winnipeg and lived two years as a child in Vancouver. She attended 10 different schools mostly in Ft. Garry and St. Vital, graduating from Dakota Collegiate in 1975. Mom had Chris very early in her life and she adopted Shaun as a single parent at age 22. Mom worked many odd jobs to support her two boys as a single parent, sometimes two and three jobs at a time. After meeting her true love, she was blessed with her two beautiful daughters Holly (9) and Haylee (6). They filled her heart with joy, determination and strength. Sandra was a hard worker and was known to be very well organized which made her a valuable employee. In every job she created lifelong friends. She found passion in friends and family, the Titanic, meditation, traveling, reading and shopping. Sandra shared and listened with unwavering love and loyalty. She was sincerely thankful to all who stopped in and helped just when it was needed. Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband and buddy, Greg, her true love; her four children, Haylee, Holly, Chris and Shaun (Leanne) Kaz and Lil Manchur, the best in-laws; her mother Marilyn Kemkaran; two brothers, David (Carla) and Ted Kemkaran; very loving Aunts who were terrific surrogates and Uncles who were so dear to her. She had a truly special relationship with each and everyone of her friends. Sandra taught so many people the meaning of giving. Many thanks to the amazing staff at the St. Boniface Pallitave Care Unit and the doctors and nurses who have always cared for her. In lieu of flowers, an Education Fund for Sandras children, Holly and Haylee, will be set up. Donations can be made payable in care of Gene Manchur, 716 Riverwood Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3T 1K6. "Sandra we love you, and you will live forever in our hearts." Cry not when you think of me For now my soul flies high and free, Take comfort in knowing There is no more pain. Encircled in the Lords arms "I live again." Ill look down and love you all! But for me there is a greater call. Please dont stand and weep, Gaze to the stars and there Ill be, And someday together we will see Our love has lasted through eternity. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
