RUTH GONSKE Suddenly, on Tuesday, May 1, 2001, Ruth Gonske, aged 63 years, was called by her Lord to her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn four sisters, Elsie Gonske, Herta Gonske, Adele Diehl and Hildegarde Gonske; and her brother Oswald Gonske (Muriel and her children, Bonnie and Tim) nieces, Kim Middlestead (Ron), Leanne Feiffer (Jason and their children, Dezirae and Matthew), Debra Diehl and grandniece and godchild Lauren; grandniece Courtney; nephews, Christopher Gonske, Corey Gonske, Robert Diehl, Jamie Diehl (Debbie) two aunts and numerous cousins and their families. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Olga and Adolf Gonske; and infant brother Ernst. Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 3 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Memories in Wojciks Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard. Ruths funeral service will be held on Friday, May 4 at 10:30 a.m., in Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington St. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruths memory may be made to the Christian Blind Mission International, Box 800, Stouffville, ON L4A 7Z9 or to the Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 1Z5.
