PASQUALINA FILLETI (nee MUSOLINO) August 16, 1913 - June 28, 2001 Peacefully on June 28, 2001, Pasqualina Filleti passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 87. Pasqualina was predeceased by her parents, Giuseppe and Maria Musolino in Italy; her husband Carmine; her son Giuseppe; her brothers, Rocco, Giuseppe and Annunziato in Italy and her sister Grazia in Italy. Pasqualina is survived by her children, Carmela (Vincenzo Ianno), Antonio (Angela), Rosa (Francesco Militano), Rocco and Maria (Saverio Larizza) daughter-in-law Judy; her grandchildren, Natalina (Tony Distefano), Lina and Sammy Ianno, Pasqualina, Carmela and Carmine Filleti, Sheila (Mario Pereira) and Tony Filleti, Giovanni and Stella Militano and Joe, Bruna and Lina Larizza; her great-grandchildren, Rosanna and Carmela Distefano and Christopher and Alexandria Pereira; her sister Antonia Barilla in Italy; cousins, Antonio and Giuseppe Filleti in Montreal, cousins, Antonio and Carmine Filleti in Boston; nephew Joe (Gloria) Filleti; many Militano nieces and nephews; niece Angela Zirino and numerous nieces and nephews in Italy. Pasqualina was born on August 16, 1913 in Acquaro di Cosoleto, Reggio Calabria, Italy. She immigrated to Canada in 1967 with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and great-grandmother. While Pasqualina was fortunate enough to enjoy a rich full life, she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Pallbearers are her grandchildren, Carmine Filleti, Tony Filleti, Sammy Ianno, Giovanni Militano, Joe Larizza and Mario Pereira. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, July 3 at 8:45 p.m. at the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 4 at 10:00 a.m. also in the church with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding at the Eucharist. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at the Health Sciences Centre.
