Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORIS PRAZINAK (nee PUTERAN) 1917 - 2001 On August 16, 2001 at Red River Place Nursing Home in Selkirk, MB, Doris passed away at the age of 84. Doris is survived by her children, Gordon (Joanne and John-Paul), Darlene (Rick), Audrey (Gerry) granddaughter Jennifer (Johann, Stephen, Jolene, Austin). She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1992; her son Dave in 1969; her sister Ann in 1994; her brother William Puteran (Doc) in 1998; and stepsisters, Lena, Katherine, Sophie, and Dora. Doris was born in Gonor and married Paul in 1939. She spent many hours in her garden and enjoyed her flowers. She loved to cook and enjoyed doing her crafts. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff at Red River Place for their kindness and care of our beloved mother Doris during her stay. Prayers will be said on Monday, August 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Gilbarts Funeral Home on Eveline Street in Selkirk. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 6297 Henderson Hwy. (Gonor), on Tuesday, August 21. Fr. Oliynek officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Doriss memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
