Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGRET (MARGE) GLOWA (nee MUZIK) Suddenly on August 18, 2001 at her residence, Marge Glowa, aged 86 years, was called home to be with the Lord. She was predeceased by her husband Ben 1987; her parents, Rosalie and Gregory Muzik; and older sister Gene and brother-in-law Jim Seniuk. Marge leaves to cherish her memory her brother Micheal (Ruth) Musack and family, her loving and devoted niece Joan Halaiko and family, cousin and best friend Joyce White, cousin Frank Wanchuk and many nieces and nephews. Marge was born in Winnipeg on December 7, 1914. She married her life partner Ben in July 1932. During her marriage she worked at East Kildonan Canning Factory, took a hairdressing course and worked alongside her husband in their own business. She also worked in the Sterling fur trade in lining, cutting and design, and the United College Canteen at the U of W. The funeral will be held on Thursday, August 23 at 9:30 a.m. at the Polish National Parish of St. Marys on 361 Burrows Ave., with Very Rev. Msgr. W. Cwieka officiating. Interment will follow at the Polish National Catholic Cemetery at 400 McIvor Ave. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Marges name to their charity of choice.
