Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGIUSEPPINA FIORENTINO Peacefully on August 20, 2001, Giuseppina, aged 94 years, passed away. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Giuseppina Fiorentino was born in Amato, Catanzaro, Italy on September 12, 1906. She was predeceased by her son Alfonso in 1940; and her husband Antonio in 1970; her sister Maria; and brothers, Antonio, Luigi, and Pietro; her brothers-in-law Costantino Loscerbo, Pietro Fiorentino, and Gregorio Anania. Giuseppina immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in 1953. She will be missed by her son Joseph (Mary) and daughter Concetta (Richard) Scerbo; grandchildren, Lisa, Anthony, Aurora and Richard; sisters-in-law, Giovanna Fiorentino, Alfonsina Fiorentino of Winnipeg, and Rosina Arcuri of Italy; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Her family and friends will remember her for her giving ways, never asking for anything in return. No matter how ill, she always responded "buona" to everyone. Giuseppina will be remembered for her garden and always sharing it with her neighbours and friends. Thank you to all the wonderful doctors, nurses and nurses aides of 5B at St. Boniface Hospital for their constant care. Thank you to Moms homecare workers, especially Maria Montanino whose patient, loving care will never be forgotten. Prayers will be said on Friday, August 24, at 8:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of the Resurrection will be held, Saturday, August 25 at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Rosary Church with Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating. Interment to follow at St. Marys Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Alfonso Fiorentino, Luigi Loscerbo, Angelo Grande, Luigi Zedda, Alfonso Anania, Raffaele Anania, Raffaele Cannata, and Tony Loscerbo. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Fiorentino, Richard Scerbo, Richard Scerbo Sr., Ray Cosentino, Chris Loscerbo, Raffaele Loscerbo, Guy Loscerbo and Giuseppe Masi.
