Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER HOMENKO Born in Kryvorizhia, Ukraine on March 23, 1929, Alexander peacefully passed away on August 21, 2001. Predeceased by his parents Reverend Mykola and Maria and lovingly remembered by his brother and three sisters and many nieces and nephews. Alexander was a long time, loyal city of Winnipeg employee and in his later years he lived in dignity with many physical limitations at the Holy Family Nursing Home. He loved to make his friends laugh and his energetic comings and goings in his wheelchair will surely be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Friday, August 31 at 10:00 a.m. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements 586-8044.
