ANNA FIJAL Passed away on Sunday, September 30th, 2001 at the age of 97 years at Holy Family Nursing Home. Anna was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1986. She is survived by loving sons, Roy (Lillian) of Winnipeg and Mickey (Beverley) of Calgary; ten grandchildren, Wayne of Montreal, Joanne Donnelly (Michael) of Youngs Cove, NS, Lory Dailly (Ian) of Vancouver, Tom (Desiree) of Pt. Roberts, WA, and Janet Rewucki of Winnipeg, Michael, Gerald (Janet), Karen (Norman) of Calgary, Janine Etherington (David) of Eugene, OR and Tim (Insook) of San Mateo, CA She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren. Until the summer of 1995, Anna lived on an acreage near Anola, MB, where she enjoyed the quiet, natural surroundings so dear to her heart. She fed the wild birds and tended a garden with great care, a hobby which she pursued unfailingly through the years. A most caring and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be remembered with deep affection. Our family thanks the staff of Holy Family for their kind and loving care. Prayers will be held on Thursday, October 4 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, a donation may be made in Annas memory to a charity of ones choice.
