Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARWIN WALTER KURZ Suddenly, on November 19, 2001 at Concordia Hospital our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away. He was born in Winnipeg on August 1, 1922, the eldest of four brothers. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Elsie of 53 years, sons, Robert, (Marianne, sons, Michael and David), and Brian (Lauretta, daughters, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Carlie and Christie) brother Ernie (Thelma) and sister-in-law Ann; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Wally and Ted; and sister-in-law Irene. He served with the Service Corps during the Second World War and later worked for the C.P.R., retiring in 1985. Upon retirement he joined the Seniors Philharmonica band and the Wood Carving Club, both which he enjoyed immensely. He also had a great passion for reading and enjoyed the many trips and outings that he took with his wife Elsie. With respect to Arwins wishes, cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. on Friday, November 23 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
