GLADYS LaMONICA (nee EARLEY) Gladys LaMonica passed away in her sleep on Thursday, November 22, 2001, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Michael, on February 13, 1985; her daughter Lorraine Eska on May 2, 1998; and her great-granddaughter Stacey Stewart in March of 1982. Gladys is survived by her sisters, Violet Earley and Doreen Williams; brothers, Archie and Ted Earley; grandsons, Warren, Craig, Scott, and Martin Stewart; great-grandson Andrew Stewart; great-granddaughter Cindy Stewart; as well as nieces, nephews, and many other family. She took great pride in her crocheting, petit point and gardening. Gladys always enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. The family wish to extend a special thank you to the staff at Heritage Lodge, 2nd floor, for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gladys name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg MB, R3B 2H8.
