Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBENJAMIN METCALFE MARSHALL Suddenly and tragically, Benjamin Metcalfe Marshall was taken from us on November 23, 2001. He leaves to treasure his memory, his loving mother Shelley; his grandparents, Audrey and Robert Metcalfe Sr.; his beloved Helen Sabater; his aunt Valerie Metcalfe and uncle Jeff Funnell; his uncle Robert Metcalfe Jr.; his father Alan Marshall and his wife Eveline with their sons, James and Scott; his brother Adam and his wife Christine and nephew Randy; his cousin Sandra and her family; his cousin Linda and her husband Joe Charette; and his longtime friends Kelly Jardine and David Maitland. Born in Winnipeg on April 19, 1981, Benjamin was a bright and energetic child. He excelled in sports and delighted all with his loving warmth, irrepressible sense of humour and unquenchable zest for life. A celebration of Benjamins life will be held on Saturday, December 1 at Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bruce Martin officiating. He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me. (Psalm 18:16-19) Dear Ben, you were our hearts delight. Dear Ben, we loved you so. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Benjamin can be made to a favourite charity. Ben I still think about you everyday of my life. I miss you and feel so robbed of all the moments in life we should have gotten up until our old age. I still talk about our best moments to anyone who will listen. We had so many sports moments, playing Hockey and Badminton. Our wrestling matches were legendary. I know I have only gotten this far in my career from skills you helped me learn at an early age. Your passing has affected me and will always hurt me till the day I die. I have had a whole in my life that only my best friend can fill. I miss you everyday. - Posted by: Kelly Jardine (Best Friend) on: May 04, 2014

Your life touched the life of someone I love very much. He has never forgotten you. I pray you are at peace with God and He will bring healing to the hearts of the family and friends whose lives were shattered when you were taken away. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Jocelyn Wynn () on: Mar 21, 2012
