Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJULES DOLLARD DIONNE It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Jules Dollard Dionne at his home on November 25, 2001. Jules was born on May 24, 1932 in Letellier, MB. Jules and his family moved to Winnipeg in 1940 where he later attended St. Boniface College. He was employed with the Canadian Pacific Railroad and afterwards with Winnipeg Enterprises until his retirement. Jules was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 25 years, serving as Grand Knight from 1970 - 1972. Jules was awarded a certificate from the Red Cross for donating over 100 pints of blood. He also volunteered for the Pregnancy Distress Centre. Jules was predeceased by his father Joseph Ernest Dionne March 9, 1983. Jules is survived by his mother Cecile Dionne (nee Arcand) sisters, Marcelle (Bill) Lockert, Georgette (David) Taylor; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are his nephews, Michael, Robert, Jerry and David Taylor; brothers-in-law, David Taylor and Bill Lockert. Prayers will be said Thursday, November 29 at 7:30 p.m., Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Blessed Sacrament Church, 425 Rosseau St. E., Transcona, with Rev. Fr. Ed Bonin officiating. Interment will be at the St. Boniface Cemetery. Quil Repose En Paix!
