Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIRGINIA REGADIO January 12, 1942 - November 29, 2001 Peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2001, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Virginia passed away at the age of 77 years. Virginia leaves to mourn her husband Pedro Regadio and her six children. She will be lovingly remembered and be missed by her children in Winnipeg and Philippines. Natividad (Rodrigo), with grandchildren, Ginalyn, Myra, Marlon, Roderick, Lorena, Joe and Junior. Eddie (Jeannie), with grandchildren, Jade, Emmarene, Eduardo. Romulo (Luz), with grandchildren, Rick and Grace. Nieves Cacalda, with grand-children, Jackielou, Ronnie, Joy and Aida. Zaldy (Terry), with grandchildren, Janice Jenelle and Jerome Jake. Edwin (Nieves), with grand-children, Michael, Shane and John-John. Left to cherish her memories are her two brothers, Simeon and Ludivico Miranda and only sister Matthiang Blanco (Philippines) many relatives, cousins, nephews and nieces in Calgary, Montreal, Sacramento, California and Philippines. Mamang will be sadly missed by close members of the family being Dela Cruz, Gajes, Hidalgo, Apdan, Nanali, Tumolva, Toledo, Geronimo, Corpuz, as well as many family and friends. Virginia was born in Villanueva, Bautista, Philippines. She migrated from Philippines to Winnipeg together with her husband and two younger sons in September 1980. Upon moving to Winnipeg, Virginia was employed in I.D. Fashions for many years until she retired. We will all remember Mamangs counsel, her gracious caring, her hospitality and true friendship. Her beauty of a person will always lay in her compassion and genuine kindness. She was always kindhearted, make jokes, and would be soft spoken to her children, grandchildren and friends. Mamang was well known for her ability to tell a good story, as well as cook, one of her best specialties. She was predeceased by her children, Teresita, Nora and Renato. We would like to thank our family and friends for the love and support during her brief illness. We also extend our deepest thanks and gratitude to all the staff on 5th floor of Seven Oaks Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care during her stay. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Rick, Jade, Michael, Eduardo and Jerome Regadio and Gilnard Tumolva. Lamay (viewing) will be held on Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Prayers will be said on Sunday, December 2 at 8:00 p.m., at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 3 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St., Msgr.
