Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE BELANGER (nee PREFONTAINE) With great sorrow the family of Alice Belanger, announce her peaceful passing on Thursday, November 29, 2001 at the St. Pierre Repos Joly. She leaves to treasure her memory her children: Arthur (Monique) of Winnipeg, Yolande La Chapelle of Winnipeg, Jacqueline McClelland (Elmer) of Lac la Biche, AB, Leonne Maynard (Gilbert) of St. Malo, MB, Elaine Robidoux (Rene) of Winnipeg, Maurice (Cheryl) of Edmonton, AB and Raymond of Winnipeg. Alice is also survived by her sisters, Eugenie Cote, Edmee Gagne, Eveline Tessier and Louise Prefontaine; sisters-in-law Eveline and Therese Prefontaine, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Raoul; her daughter Marcelle Poirier (Rene) by her brothers, Lucien, Victor and Norbert; her sisters, Armande Singer and Therese Lavergne. The family would like to thank the caregivers, doctors and staff at the Repos Jolys for all the wonderful care and compassion they showed their mother. Mom loved them all and told us often how much she appreciated them. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will take place at the St. Pierre-Jolys Roman Catholic Church at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3 with labbe Benjamin officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Repos Jolys, the Arthritis Society or the Cancer Research Foundation in her name.
