STANLEY WARREN GAUNT (SONNY) Passed away peacefully November 27, 2001. Born Winnipeg June 5, 1930. Predeceased by his parents and sister June. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Patricia; son Stephen; sisters, Noreen (Winnipeg) and Geraldine (Winnipeg) nieces, Wendy (Winnipeg) and Judith. Sonny grew up in Winnipeg where he was an avid athlete. He played baseball, hockey, football and golf. After moving to Vancouver in 1962 he continued to golf and was a dyed-in-the-wool Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan. He worked for the Ford Motor Company for 30 years. Special thanks to Dr. Edward Lau, and staff of Surrey Memorial Hospital, 5E. No service by request. Donations may be made to Surrey Memorial Hospital, or the Stroke Association. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Winnipeg. Give Grandpa a hug for me. We will meet again.
