FLORENCE HINCE It has pleased God to call to Himself Florence (Andre) Hince aged 86, on December 21, 2001 at the St. Boniface General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her parents Francois and Veronique (Poitras) Andre; two sisters, Jennie Tye and Madeleine Goulet and a brother Marcel. Aside from her many friends, Florence leaves to mourn her passing, her four children and their families, Audrey and her children, Lorraine, Ron (Terri), and Diane (Merle) Ronald (Diann), Raymond (Pat) and their children, Richard, Sylvie and Daniel and Leo. She is also survived by a brother, Brother Joseph Andre s.m.; a sister-in-law Pat Andre and a brother-in-law Leo Goulet. She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, Kathy, Jessica, Amanda, Clinton and Kailey; and one great-great-grandchild Samantha. Florence attended St. Marys Academy and lAcademie St. Joseph in St. Boniface, respectively, where she graduated whilst completing her studies in music. For many years after, alongside raising a family, she worked for the Federal Government until her retirement at the age of 65. She will be remembered as a kind and caring person. Her family members as well as her friends and acquaintances benefitted from her many kindnesses. Moreover, in spite of being plagued throughout her life with many ailments, she always succeeded in maintaining a cheerful nature. During family reunions, she had the gift of reminiscing about family lore. Viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. on December 28 followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral with Mgr. Albert Frechette officiating. The family expresses special thanks to Dr. Julie Levesque and Mom;s primary health care nurse, Claire of the St. Boniface General Hospital for their exceptional care of our mother. Likewise, grateful thanks to the pastoral team for visiting her and bringing her spiritual support.
