STANLEY WILLIAMS Peacefully, on Saturday, December 22, 2001, Stanley passed away at Deer Lodge Hospital at the age of 91 years. Stanley will be lovingly remembered by children Grace Anderson of Victoria, BC, Melvin (Pam) of Winnipeg, Doreen Boyko of Mississauga, ON, Stanley (Dianne), Robert (Judy), Darlene Reilly (John), Douglas (Ellie), Christopher (Ivonna), and Perry (Anne), all of Winnipeg; 24 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Stan was born October 17, 1910 and raised in St. Laurent by Joseph and Marie-Elizabeth Lavallee. He was a traditional hunter, trapper, and fisherman and enjoyed dancing and playing his fiddle. Stanley was with the CN Rail for 37 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 1. Stan enjoyed travelling to various "hot spots" around the world. Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 28, at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the doctors and staff at Deer Lodge Centre. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
