EDWARD SMITH Peacefully, on December 26, 2001, Edward Smith passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 83 years. Born in 1918 in Craik, SK, Mr. Smith retired in 1981 from the CNR, after 36 years of service. Survived by his wife Winnifred and son Robert, daughter-in-law Carol. Also survived by two brothers, Richard and Harold. Many thanks to the staff at Park Manor Personal Care Home for the loving care given to Edward. Service will be held at St. Georges Anglican Church, 321 Pandora Ave. West, Transcona on Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Transcona Cemetery. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
