FRANCES WESLEY Peacefully on December 26, 2001, Frances Elizabeth Wesley of Winnipeg entered into our Heavenly Fathers hands, at the age of 74 years. Frances was born and raised at Fisher River Cree Nation. She lived for a while in the Brandon Sanatorium, because of illness and then moved to Winnipeg, where she resided until her passing. Frances loved to go back to her community to visit her family and many friends. Frances is survived by sister Juliette, nieces, Amelia Wesley, Matilda (Louis) Musuagon, and Lorraine Wesley; sister-in-law Irene Walker; great-nieces, Audra Wesley, and Nellis (Ron) Wesley; great-nephews, Dion, Kevin, and Ronald Wesley; numerous relatives and friends in Fisher River and Winnipeg. Frances was predeceased by her parents, Isaiah and Nellie Wesley; brothers, Jim, Ernie, Dave, and Victor; sisters, Lydia, Edna and Ella; nephews, Stanley Traverse, and Ron Wesley; and common-law husband Walter Swherin. Frances was a gentle, kind and very generous person, especially to her friend Ole Hansen. She never spoke a harsh word and was very friendly, and loved to help others. Frances will always be loved and remembered. Wake service will be held on Friday, December 28 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Stevens Memorial United Church with Asst.
