SYLVIA ETHEL KINKARTZ (nee BASKERVILLE) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Ethel Kinkartz, December 26, 2001. She was predeceased by her parents. Sylvia is survived by her loving and devoted husband Fred, brother Clifford (Joan) Anger of Richmond, BC, and all her nieces and nephews of British Columbia. Her step-daughter Gaby (Richard) Sparks and their daughter Katrina, step-son Rony (Cathy), plus her many cherished friends and her beautiful dogs, Bonbon and Kandy. Sylvia worked at the CNR accounting department until her marriage to Fred. Then, because of her great love for animals, she became a volunteer at Winnipeg Humane Society to be near them. She also joined an oil painting group, where she learned to paint wildlife animals. Many thanks to Dr. L.C. Bartlette and her other doctors and staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 2 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St. Funeral arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME 220 HESPELER AVE. 668-3151
