Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOUGLAS ANDREW WATTIER It is with great sorrow that the family of Douglas Andrew Wattier announces that his brief but intense battle with cancer ended in the early morning hour of Friday, December 28, 2001. Doug is survived by his loving wife Mary of 28 years; his mom, Ruth Wattier; his children and grandchildren, Christina and Brian Riehl and grampas little girls, Emily, Kylee and Holly; Collin (Lisa) and grampas other little girls, Jaymin and Taylor; Crystal and grampas first grandson, Tyrell and newest little girl Quiari and Cassandra and grandson Drevonte. Doug was born on May 18, 1955 in Marmora Lake, ON. He had eight biological siblings and one adoptive brother, Bill (Kim), numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dad, Harry Wattier. Doug loved and lived life to the fullest. His main objective was to provide a wonderful home for his family. Doug worked on the oil rigs in Alberta, but spent the past 16 years as a long haul driver. He was so proud when Mary teamed with him in 1995 and together they owned and operated their own big rig. Doug loved fishing and camping, particularly with Mary and the grand kids. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. If friends so desire, donations in Dougs memory may be made to Oak Hammock Marsh, P.O.
