WILMA MARY SMITH Wilma Mary Smith, of St. Boniface, died peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2002 at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Leaving to forever cherish her memory are her sister Marjorie (Alex) Payer and brother Denis (Joyce) Ball. Wilma was employed for many years by the Department of Transportation in Winnipeg. She was a supporter of the arts and the Winnipeg Humane Society as well as other charitable organizations. There will be no formal funeral service. A private family ceremony and interment was held on Wednesday, January 9, in Brookside Cemetery. Our family would like to thank all the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their many kindnesses to Wilma.
