LOUISE MATTHES It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Louise, beloved wife of Jack Matthes on December 30, 2001 at the age of 82 years. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her sister Earlene Wales of Richmond, BC; her brother-in-law Ken (Naomi) Matthes of Regina; sisters-in-law, Angie Arnst, Ida Koehler, and Jessie Boily of Winnipeg, Ella Drinkle of Saskatoon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Louise was born and lived most of her life in Winnipeg. She married Jack Matthes in 1970 and they spent many enjoyable summers at their trailer in Wildwood Park, Winnipeg Beach. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Grey and McCalman Avenue with Pastor Richard Kruesel officiating. Interment of ashes at a later date in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Cross Memorial Fund, or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
