MICHAEL ROBERT GULAK Suddenly, at Concordia Hospital, Michael Robert Gulak passed away at the age of 75, on Monday, December 31, 2001. Michael was predeceased by his wife Rose. He was born on August 24, 1926 in Saskatchewan. In the early 1950s he moved to Winnipeg with his wife Rose. Michael was very talented. He could fix and build anything, building his own home to accommodate a family and to provide special care for his wife. Michael focused his energies into founding and building a successful business. Upon retirement he kept active in various activities, but he derived most pleasure in restoring automobiles. Recently he discovered dancing to keep fit and active. Michael will be remembered by his daughter Florence Matthews; grandchildren, Jonathan and Stephanie Matthews; son Glenn and wife Gayle; grandchildren, Chelsey and Mickayla Gulak; special friend Anne Niziol and her family. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, corner of Watt and Munroe, with Rev. Fr. Darren Kawiuk officiating.
